Can I keep using MQTT topics from my existing AWS-connected sensors?
Yes — LoopString runs mosquitto on the Pi as a local broker, and the Configurator can route between it and any upstream broker. If your sensors already publish to AWS IoT, we can mirror those topics to the Pi-side broker so the LoopString flow has them locally.

Do you support Greengrass-style local code execution?
Yes — the Pi runs Node-RED under the hood, generated by the Configurator. You can add custom function nodes (JavaScript) and exec nodes (any local command) for behavior the Configurator doesn't model. The difference from Greengrass: those flows are visible and editable in the Configurator, not deployed via aws-cli.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes — Firestore historical readings, alert logs, recipe definitions, and parts-library extensions are all exportable. We don't lock data on the way out.
